Michio Isanagi

Description:
Bio:

Michio Isanagi is a survivor through and through. Born to a poor family in Japan, as a child, her father brought the Isanagi family to Hawaii, where he had purchased a small scrap of land for sugar cultivation. Upon his arrival, Michio’s entire family was press ganged into indentured servitude on the selfsame farm they were to own. Swindled, the family barely eked out an existence as laborers. After a fire destroyed the plantation, Michio found herself to be the last of the Isanagi clan.

In an effort to support herself, Michio disguised herself as a man and began working construction crews for American railroad concerns. After years of hard labor, her company’s campsite was attacked by Natives. Michio, taken captive by the Natives found herself learning their language and their ways. Eventually ingratiating herself to the tribe, she travelled the American Southwest. A denizen of the Free States since the early days of the Revolt, Michio is a free spirit, and an itinerant one at that. Her connection to the American Southwest, its ways and quirks is nearly without peer. The details regarding her embrace are uncertain, for she keeps those cards close to her vest. A wanderer at heart, she knows many secrets whispered across the Free States and beyond… But she’s not telling.
